Students will be selected for nomination for the scholarships based on their demonstrated talent or potential in either one of the following five areas of talents:
1. Sports and Games;
2. Music and Performing Arts;
3. Culture, Arts and Design;
4. Innovation; or
5. Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM).
The Reaching Out Award (ROA) aims to support meritorious students to participate in learning, internship or service programmes, as well as national, regional and international events and competitions that are conducted outside Hong Kong and organized/endorsed by institutions.
