FIRST workshops by Ms. Heidi LAM | Copywriting in the Digital Era & Digital Storytelling (SDU)

This semester, the Student Development Unit of CityU SCOPE has arranged a range of non-credit-bearing English workshops to enhance our students’ English proficiency as well as employability. The workshops are “Future Intelligence Ready Skills Training” (FIRST) courses organized by CityU SCOPE strengthening students’ competitiveness in the career world by delivering different transferrable skills from our guest speakers.

For the first two courses – “Copywriting in the Digital Era” and “Digital Storytelling” held on 13 MAY and 24 MAY respectively, it is our honor to have invited Ms. Heidi LAM, VOGUE producer, to be our guest speaker. Throughout the workshops, she delivered an engaging and informative presentation to share her knowledge and experiences with the participants, with numerous real-life examples and case studies, allowing the participants to have a better understanding of how to be an effective and engaging presenter and storyteller who is capable of capturing audience’s attention and arousing their interests.

Through the activities and workshops arranged under the FIRST scheme, it is believed that our students will be more well-equipped and confident to face their challenges and unknowns in the future digital workplace.
