College of Professional and Global Education, San José State University and School of Continuing and Professional Education, City University of Hong Kong sign Letter of Intent to promote international cooperation in education
San José State University on behalf of its College of Professional and Global Education (CPGE) and City University of Hong Kong on behalf of its School of Continuing and Professional Education (SCOPE) have signed a Letter of Intent to promote international academic cooperation, exchange and collaborative teaching. The signing ceremony was held on 4th May, 2023, at City University of Hong Kong and was attended by representatives of both parties, including Dr. John Leung, Director of SCOPE, and Ms Lydia Chan, Business Development and External Relations Manager of CPGE.
This partnership marks the first collaboration between San José State University and City University of Hong Kong SCOPE. As the start, executive education will be one of the areas for co-development.
"We are excited to establish this partnership with CityU SCOPE," said Ms Lydia Chan. "This agreement is a significant step towards establishing a strong relationship between our institutions and we look forward to a successful collaboration in education."
Both institutions are committed to providing high-quality education and fostering partnerships with leading institutions around the world. The Letter of Intent forms the framework for cooperation between the two institutions to identify and achieve shared goals and objectives. It is hoped that this partnership will lead to more successful collaborations that will benefit both institutions and their respective communities.

With this new partnership, City University of Hong Kong SCOPE and San José State University are poised to continue their tradition of excellence in collaborative teaching and learning and contribute to bring valuable social impact to our respective communities.
