Thanks for CityU SCOPE, Student Development Unit (SDU) and Dr. Chiu to hold a good activity for students' to know more about the relationship between art, psychology and themselves. I could try to practice and analysis others' feelings, thoughts and views in a positive way through applying different types of psychological approach, such as Gestalt Approach and Positive Psychology. Also, Dr. Chiu cared about every student as he set some ground rules, such as be empathy, confidentially and non-judgmental which showed respect to us.  My self-acceptance increased, self-esteem enhanced and the value of self-actualization established after joining the activity.

After this drawing activity, I learned more about “deeper me” though the unconsciousness of elements in my drawing. Drawings in different topics for example, “My secret garden” and “Hope” was really interesting that we could express our thinking and feeling by painting colour, shapes or lines. I really enjoyed and thank you.
