About the Programme
The programme provides students with the skills, competencies and knowledge to contribute to the marketing function within an organisation. In this year, students will study different areas of marketing and work on projects in higher level modules. Students who successfully completed the programme are eligible to apply credit exemption from the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM). Hong Kong students will get the same status as the DMU’s BA (Hons) Marketing graduates in UK. Graduates are able to pursue career in advertising and marketing communication, public relations, customer service, digital marketing in various industries.

HKCAAVQ Accreditation
1) This programme is:
- accredited by the Hong Kong Council for Accreditation of Academic and Vocational Qualifications (HKCAAVQ) to reach HKQF Level 5 (QR registration no. 19/000110/L5; Validity Period: 01/09/2019 to 31/08/2023);
- equivalent to the standing of bachelor's degrees offered by local universities in Hong Kong; and
- recognised by the Hong Kong Government for employment purposes within the Civil Service.
2) Students studying full-time mode may apply for government scholarship, grant and loans.
Scholarships
Apart from the Government Scholarships, De Montfort University also offers Scholarships to students.
Programme Delivery
The teaching of the programme is conducted by local academics and practitioners. The programme is administered by the School of Continuing and Professional Education, City University of Hong Kong (CityU SCOPE). De Montfort University closely monitors the progress and quality of the programme. De Montfort staff and the External Examiners visit the programme regularly throughout the year.
