Sheffield Hallam University (SHU), in collaboration with the School of Continuing and Professional Education (SCOPE), City University of Hong Kong, offers a one year top-up degree programme leading to the award of Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Applied Social Science.

 

Introduction to Sheffield Hallam University

Social Science at Sheffield Hallam University

Social Science at Sheffield Hallam University has a distinctly applied character. The university's teaching, research and business services cover a broad remit, from the development of new government and European laws, to the policy responses of the public, private and voluntary sectors.

Academic staff are actively involved in the training by UK’s Higher Education Academy (HEA) to become Fellow of HEA, a teaching qualification required by British universities.
